The Crocs Trend Isn’t Going Anywhere – Shop the Styles Celebs Love

]

Crocs have made a comeback with celebs like Justin Bieber seen rocking the clog. And considering the fact that Bieber even launched two collaborations with the brand, it’s clear that the artist loves the iconic shoe – and he isn’t the only one. More stars like Bad Bunny, Post Malone and Drew Barrymore have previously released limited-edition styles.

If the fact that Crocs have become a #1 best selling item on Amazon should tell you anything, it’s that there’s a good reason behind the footwear brand’s unparalleled popularity. The lightweight, ventilated shoe is perfect for wearing on casual days with loungewear. Crocs also offers non-clog styles such as sandals, slides, flip-flops, boots, flats and sneakers.

If you have yet to purchase a pair, browse through a handful of celebrity-loved picks from Crocs, including the Classic Clog, a fashionable platform style, fun colorful prints such as tie-dye and Jibbitz charms to adorn your favorite pair. Then, check out ET Style’s favorite picks from the beloved footwear brand.

Nicki Minaj Wears Crocs & Little Else In New Racy Photos, Teases New Music

]

In 2019, Minaj had shared that she was retiring from music, writing in a tweet, “I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me, [X] in the box- cuz ain’t nobody checkin me. Love you for LIFE.”

But, in a following interview with The Shade Room, Nicki admitted that she “still had music that [she] already had recorded that was still going to come out.” She continued, “So the retirement was kind of talking about my album, meaning like, ‘Do I want to go back and record my fifth album?'”

Minaj added, “It was really about the fifth album. Where do I stand with it now? I didn’t know my fans would act like that with the tweet. It hurt my feelings because I feel like the way I did it was maybe insensitive to my fans. But I didn’t think people were going to take it. I didn’t know it was going to be that big of a deal, so that’s why I deleted it.”

Over the last couple of years, Nicki did have her family — she married her now-husband, Kenneth Petty, in October 2019, and the couple welcomed their first child together a year later.

Spring’s Sugary Slingbacks Are A Riotous Take On A Classic

]

“With four pairs of shoes, I can travel the world,” Gabrielle Chanel once said. The most famous of her capsule footwear designs was of course the two-tone slingback. Coined the “Cinderella slipper” by members of the press, the ladylike shoe, with its streamlined, functional ankle strap, broke the mould for monochrome shoes upon its launch in 1957. It is the model Karl Lagerfeld drew direct inspiration from for the now also iconic Chanel ballerina pump when he joined the house in 1983, and one that had a formative influence on other designers in the decades that followed. Imbued with fresh inspiration and modernity, the slingback – “the height of elegance,” according to Mademoiselle Chanel – has appeared in many guises since.

A quick scan down Chanel.com shows this season’s slingbacks realised in denim, grosgrain and dotted with pearls, tweed and metallic goatskin. Classic in any iteration, the house isn’t the only one to have revisited the slingback’s sweet charms this season. At Prada, point-toe, ankle-strap kitten heels, which have long been a mainstay of Miuccia Prada’s wardrobe and were popular at the house in the ’90s, were given the Raf Simons treatment as part of their new co-design arrangement. Polite monotone pairs with comma heels and rubberised outers grounded starkly minimalist looks (very Raf), while peppy, padded sling-backs and pyjamas (very Miuccia) made for a modern evening wear option in the duo’s uniform-centric wardrobe.
