Pistons vs. Heat: How to watch live stream, TV channel, NBA start time
Through 3 Quarters
The Miami Heat typically have all the answers at home, but the Detroit Pistons are posing a tough problem. Sitting on a score of 76-67, Detroit has looked like the better team out there today, but there’s still one more quarter to play.
The Pistons have been riding high on the performance of power forward Jerami Grant, who has 16 points in addition to five rebounds. One thing to keep an eye out for is Luka Garza’s foul situation as he currently sits at four.
The top scorer for Miami has been point guard Tyler Herro (17 points).
The Heat have been used to carrying a lead into the fourth quarter lately, so we’ll see how they respond to the deficit.
Who’s Playing
Miami @ Detroit
Current Records: Miami 11-6; Detroit 4-12
What to Know
The Miami Heat will take on the Detroit Pistons at 7 p.m. ET Tuesday at Little Caesars Arena after having had a few days off. Miami won’t have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy a 10-point advantage in the spread.
It was a hard-fought contest, but the Heat had to settle for a 103-100 defeat against the Washington Wizards this past Saturday. The matchup was as close as the oddsmakers predicted, but Miami had been the slight favorite coming in. Point guard Kyle Lowry had a pretty forgettable game, finishing with only seven points on 3-for-12 shooting in his 36 minutes on the court.
Meanwhile, Detroit was within striking distance but couldn’t close the gap on Sunday as they fell 121-116 to the Los Angeles Lakers. Detroit was up 99-84 at the end of the third quarter but couldn’t hold on to the lead. Detroit’s loss came about despite a quality game from power forward Jerami Grant, who shot 5-for-9 from beyond the arc and finished with 36 points.
This next game looks promising for Miami, who are favored by a full 10 points. If their 12-5 record against the spread is anything to go by, the prospects look good for bets placed on them.
The losses put the Heat at 11-6 and the Pistons at 4-12. A couple defensive stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: Miami comes into the contest boasting the third fewest points allowed per game in the league at 102.4. Less enviably, Detroit has allowed their opponents to shoot 48.10% from the floor on average, which is the highest shooting percentage allowed in the league. So the cards are definitely stacked against Detroit.

What to Know
The Los Angeles Lakers will hit the road for the fourth straight game as they head to Madison Square Garden at 7:30 p.m. ET Tuesday. They will be strutting in after a victory while the New York Knicks will be stumbling in from a defeat.
Los Angeles didn’t have too much breathing room in their game with the Detroit Pistons on Sunday, but they still walked away with a 121-116 win. The victory came about thanks to a strong surge after the third quarter to overcome a 99-84 deficit. Power forward Anthony Davis continued his habit of dropping crazy stat lines, posting a double-double on 30 points and ten rebounds along with six assists.
Meanwhile, the Knicks were within striking distance but couldn’t close the gap on Sunday as they fell 109-103 to the Chicago Bulls. The losing side was boosted by power forward Julius Randle, who dropped a double-double on 34 points and ten boards.
Los Angeles is expected to lose this next one by 6. They have failed bettors playing the spread in their past two games, so buyers beware.
Los Angeles is now 9-9 while New York sits at 9-8. A pair of defensive numbers to keep in mind before tip-off: Los Angeles is second worst in the league in points allowed per game, with 113.4 on average. The Knicks' defense has more to brag about, as they they have been holding their opponents to a field goal percentage of 42.90%, which places them third in the league. So the cards are definitely stacked in their favor.

How to watch Northern Illinois vs. Western Michigan: TV channel, NCAA Football live stream info, start time
Through 3 Quarters
The Western Michigan Broncos were expected to win this one, and they are just one quarter away from fulfilling that expectation. After three quarters it’s looking more and more like their high-powered offense is just too much for the Northern Illinois Huskies as the Broncos lead 35-14.
WMU has been led by WR Skyy Moore, who so far has caught 12 passes for four TDs and 206 yards. One of the most thrilling moments was Moore’s 50-yard TD reception in the second quarter.
NIU has been riding high on the performance of RB Clint Ratkovich, who has rushed for one TD and 97 yards on four carries. That touchdown – a 96-yard rush in the second quarter – was one of the highlights of the game.
Who’s Playing
Western Michigan @ Northern Illinois
Current Records: Western Michigan 6-5; Northern Illinois 8-3
What to Know
The Western Michigan Broncos and the Northern Illinois Huskies are even-steven against one another since November of 2015 (3-3), but not for long. The Broncos will hit the road for the second straight week as they head to Brigham Field at Huskie Stadium at 7 p.m. ET Tuesday. The defensive coordinators will surely put in extra hours ahead of this matchup since these teams' offenses combined for 978 yards last week.
WMU had victory within their grasp but couldn’t quite capture it on Tuesday as the team lost 22-21 to the Eastern Michigan Eagles. The losing side was boosted by WR Skyy Moore, who caught 12 passes for one TD and 181 yards. Moore hadn’t helped his team much against the Akron Zips last Tuesday, so this was a nice turnaround for him.
Speaking of close games: it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Huskies ultimately got the result they were hoping for on Wednesday with a 33-27 win over the Buffalo Bulls. The score was all tied up at the break 10-10, but NIU was the better team in the second half. WR Trayvon Rudolph was the offensive standout of the contest for NIU, punching in one rushing touchdown in addition to catching four passes for 80 yards. That touchdown – a 75-yard rush in the second quarter – was one of the highlights of the game.
WMU is the favorite in this one, with an expected 6.5-point margin of victory. Now might not be the best time to take WMU against the spread since they’ve let down bettors for the past four consecutive games.
The Broncos are now 6-5 while the Huskies sit at 8-3. A pair of defensive numbers to keep in mind before kickoff: WMU is 216th worst in the nation in passing touchdowns allowed, with 22 on the season. NIU has experienced some struggles of their own as they are stumbling into the game with the 239th most rushing touchdowns allowed in the nation, having given up 29 on the season. It’s possible one of these Achilles' heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
