Paul Gascoigne has reportedly been rushed to hospital after injuring himself on the Italian version of I’m a Celebrity.
The Rangers legend was filmed taking part in a challenge for the show when he appeared to hurt himself.
Gazza could then be seen holding his shoulder and grimacing in pain before being led to a waiting medical team off camera.
Later on the show, it was revealed that the ex-footballing star was ‘not seriously hurt’ but had been taken to hospital for an x-ray and a check up.
The 53-year-old was not seen for the remainder of the show and missed last night’s nominations, The Sun reports.
Gascoigne is currently taking part in the Italian version of I’m a Celebrity, which is called L’Isola dei Famosi - or the Island of the Famous.
The show is filmed on the island of Cayo Caochinos, off the coast of Honduras and lasts for two months.
Gazza had to quarantine for two weeks on his arrival to the Central American country and UK officials let him participate as it is a work-related venture.
If he wins, he pledged to give the £85,000 top prize to a family charity set up in honour of his late nephew Lennon Gascoigne, who died aged 22 in 2016.

The former Newcastle and Spurs star had just taken part in a trial only minutes into the show for a special treat of spaghetti with meatballs when he was hurt.
For the trial Gazza had to grab a ball, scramble through a ditch and then wade under a cargo net before climbing a platform to score through a basketball hoop.
Host Ilary Blasi was the first to spot something was wrong and said: “What’s happened to Paul, he looks in trouble?”
As the camera panned back to him a grimacing Gazza could be seen standing in the sea, holding his shoulder clearly in pain.

Italian Strictly winner Gilles Rocca was then seen putting his arm around him as he led him off camera to a waiting medical team.
Minutes later the show cut back to Cayos Cochinos, an island off the coast of Honduras, where co host Massimiliano Rosolino told viewers:“Paul is with the medics but the initial view is that he is not seriously hurt.”
Just before he hurt himself a clip had been played where Gazza was seen fishing but catching nothing - only for team mate Francesco Lodo to pull a fish from the sea leaving her delighted.

Retired footballer Paul Gascoigne had to go to a medical centre after hurting his shoulder on Italy’s version of ‘I’m A Celebrity’
Paul Gascoigne was rushed to hospital after injuring his shoulder on the Italian version of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’
The 53-year-old former footballer – who spent three years playing for Rome club Lazio – wasn’t “seriously hurt”, but he was still taken to a medical centre for a check-up and x-rays.
During last night’s (25.03.21) episode of ‘L’Isola Dei Famosi’ – ‘The Island of the Famous’ – Gazza took part in a trial to try and earn spaghetti and meatballs for the camp.
He had to pick up a ball, get through a ditch and under a cargo net before climbing up a platform and scoring through a basketball hoop.
However, host Ilary Blasi noticed something wasn’t right and commented: “What’s happened to Paul, he looks in trouble?”
He could be seen in the sea holding his shoulder as Gilles Rocca – who previously won Italy’s version of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ – helped him get to the medical team.
Ilary’s co-host Massimiliano Rosolino later added: “Paul is with the medics but the initial view is that he is not seriously hurt.”
Meanwhile, it was previously revealed Paul has been taking intensive Italian lessons ahead of the show.
An insider said: “Paul has a basic grasp of Italian and he can make himself understood. But what we really want to avoid is having subtitles too often as that would ruin it. The idea is to get him up to a good conversational level so he can talk with the other competitors.
“We are expecting some exciting TV from Paul … The women on the island are all very attractive and range in ages from 22 to 53 – the same age as Paul – and most of them are single. It should make a fascinating watch to see how Paul interacts with these women who are very opinionated and have strong views.”
Paul is well known in Italy for playing for Rome football club Lazio in the 1990s.
