Actor and self-proclaimed critic Kamaal R Khan has listed his friends in Bollywood. KRK, as he is commonly known, is involved in a legal tussle with actor Salman Khan, and has been claiming in recent social media posts that he is a beloved figure in the film industry.

On Friday, he wrote in a tweet that everyone from Abhishek Bachchan to Shah Rukh Khan are like ‘brothers’ to him. He tagged every celebrity that he mentioned in his tweet.

He also wrote in a separate tweet that no one has spoken in support of ‘Bollywood ka gunda bhai (Bollywood’s goon)’, because he is detested within the film community. “Bollywood people don’t want to see him in Bollywood at all. They all hate him,” he wrote. Although KRK didn’t name Salman, and hasn’t in any of his post-lawsuit tweets, he used the nickname that Salman is popularly called by.

He wrote, “Main Toh @AnilKapoor Ko Bhi Bhai Bolta Hoon! @Riteishd Aur @juniorbachchan Ko Bhi Bhai Bolta Hoon! @vivekoberoi and @duttsanjay Ko Bhi Bhai Hi Bolta Hoon! @iamsrk aur @iHrithik Ko Bhi Bhai Hi Bolta Hun. Pata Na i Ye media Wale mere Tweets Ka Galat Matlab Kyon Nikalte Rahte Hain. (I call Anil Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Vivek Oberoi, Sanjay Dutt, Shah Rukh Khan, and Hrithik Roshan my brothers. I don’t know why the media misinterprets my tweets).”

Salman has sued KRK over allegations of corruption, although the Deshdrohi actor maintains that it is in retaliation for his negative review of Salman’s latest film, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai.

Following the legal notice, KRK has been publicly criticised by singer Mika Singh and former Bigg Boss 14 contestant Aly Goni. Over the years, many from Karan Johar, Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra, Vikram Bhatt, and Anurag Kashyap have criticised KRK on social media.

After self-styled film critic Kamaal R Khan, better known as KRK, thanked Govinda for his ‘love and support’ last month amid the legal tussle with Salman Khan, he has now said that he wasn’t referring to the film actor. His clarification came as Govinda said he has not even spoken to KRK and has no idea about his case with Salman.

Taking a U-turn, KRK wrote, “Please note Mr. Govind Arun Ahuja @govindaahuja21, I didn’t tag you because I was not talking about you. I was talking about my friend, who’s real name Govinda. So I can’t help if media people make news about you.”

KRK on May 29th had tweeted, “Govinda Bhai thank you for your love and support. I won’t disappoint you (sic).”

Responding to KRK involving him as Salman Khan filed a defamation suit, Govinda had told IANS, “I read some media reports about me backing KRK. I am not in touch with KRK for years altogether — no meetings, no phone calls, and no messages. It could be some other person by the same name as I am not being tagged in the tweet. In fact, the self-proclaimed critic had spoken and written unfit statements about me and my movies in the past.”

Govinda had also called KRK someone who creates “nuisance” and has an “agenda” by dragging him in the matter he has nothing to do with. He had said, “I do not even know in depth the exact problems between Salman and KRK but my name has been dragged in the matter. A similar attempt was made by another film critic Komal Nahata who also took my name in an issue concerning Kartik Aaryan losing a couple of films. Both the attempts seem like an agenda by a demented mind aimed to create nuisance amidst the unprecedented pandemic times.”

It all started after Salman filed a defamation complaint in a Mumbai court against Kamaal R Khan. While KRK maintained that it was after a negative review of Radhe Your Most Wanted Bhai, Salman’s legal team had clarified that the case was filed for defamatory allegations against the star.

A few days ago, singer Mika Singh had defended Salman Khan, and criticised KRK. He had also announced a single ‘Barking Dog’ inspired by KRK. He has said that KRK has no business making personal comments during his film reviews.

Singer Mika Singh on Wednesday said that his diss track against self-proclaimed critic Kamaal R Khan, better known as KRK, is well on its way. Mika and KRK have been feuding on social media, after the singer supported Salman Khan in his defamation lawsuit against KRK.

Taking to Twitter, Mika shared a video from his studio, and said that the music for the song, titled #KRKKutta (Barking Dog) is ready, and that he now has to write the lyrics.

“Hello everyone, beat and tune is almost done now. we are working on the lyrics.. thank you @shari @ToshiSabrii for making such an awesome beat.. I am making this special song for @kamaalrkhan #KRKKutta ..But it is a commercial club song.” Mika could be seen chatting with the others about the beat, which was playing in the background and sounded like it sampled actual dog barks.

Mika in an interview last week said that he supports Salman’s decision to sue KRK, and that the step was a long time coming. Mika, who has collaborated with Salman on several occasions, slammed KRK for making ‘personal attacks’ against the actor. He told Bollywood Spy in Hindi, “I am surprised that Salman bhai waited so long to file a case against him. Donkeys like him should be tamed as soon as possible… He always makes personal attacks, which is wrong.”

While Salman’s lawyers have said that the defamation case is against allegations of corruption made by KRK, KRK has maintained that it is in retaliation of his negative review of Salman’s new film, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai.

KRK has described Mika as a ‘chirkut singer’ in multiple tweets. Previously, Mika had written in a tweet that KRK only picks on ‘soft’ targets. He wrote in Punjabi, “He only picks on the soft people in Bollywood. He won’t mess with his daddy. Tell my son to unblock me, please. I am not Karan Johar or Anurag Kashyap. I am his daddy.”
