Portugal is one of the 12 countries currently on the UK’s ‘green list’ following the easing of lockdown restrictions in Britain last week.

It comes after Chloe went public about her romance with Hollyoaks' Owen Warner, 21, on Saturday, sharing a series of loved-up snaps to Instagram.

Chloe is believed to have been single for more than a year following a turbulent relationship with Sam Gowland which began in 2017.

The on-and-off couple parted ways for good in February 2020.

Since then, the reality star has been embracing the single life and dating, having appeared on the 2020 series of Celebs Go Dating.

She built a connection with Kieran Bishop and they reportedly spent time together when they left the show’s mansion. However, the alleged romance didn’t last long as Chloe failed to confirm they were ever dating.

She even shared a series of flirty exchanges with her Celebs Go Dating co-star Wayne Lineker, 59, who sent fans wild when he posted a fake engagement photo.

Appearing on FUBAR Radio with host TOWIE’s Bobby Norris in May, Wayne was asked who his celebrity crush was, responding: ‘Oh, that’s Chloe [Ferry] obviously!’

TOWIE star Bobby then said: ‘Miss Ferry. I saw all about this engagement! How did it come about Wayne?’

Club owner Wayne went on to explain: ‘Me and Chloe just have a laugh all the time. We’re in the mansion and she had a wedding ring.

‘She went, “Come on, Wayne, let’s pretend we’re getting married”. And we took all the pictures and everything and we didn’t end up doing it, we just forgot about it.

‘And she phoned me up last week. Because, I mean, we are seeing each other a little bit and having a bit of flirtatious banter and we’ll see what happens in the summer.

‘But she said, “Come on let’s post it! Let’s have a laugh!” I said, “You know it’s going to go viral don’t you?” She went, “Yeah of course I do!”

Owen, meanwhile, was previously in a relationship with his Hollyoaks co-star Stephanie Davis but the pair split in 2019.

Katie Price and fiancé Carl Woods were among the first jet setters from Stansted Airport this morning, as England takes a leap out of lockdown.

The celeb couple were spotted arriving in Faro, Portugal from the Essex airport earlier today, May 17.

They wasted no time in embarking on their travels, on the day international travel is again allowed.

However there are still plenty of restrictions on going abroad. Katie and Carl’s popular choice of Portugal is one of a small number of countries on the UK’s ‘green list. ’

According to the rules for green-listed countries, you must take a Covid-19 test on or before day 2 after you arrive back in England.

Quarantine is not required unless the test result is positive.

Under the latest government travel guidance, Portugal, including the Azores and Maderia, became a green list country as of 4am this morning.

This means that when Katie and Carl return, they must take a coronavirus test a day or two before arrival to the UK and will not need to quarantine unless the result is positive.

The loved-up couple could be seen wearing black face masks at Faro airport in Portugal, white t-shirts and comfortable jogging bottoms for their flight.

Katie was seen with a chic Louis Vuitton crossbody bag, while Carl was equipped with his mobile phone in his hand and backpack.

The couple was also papped with matching silver suitcases as they got into the back of a vehicle to travel to their holiday destination.

Carl described himself as a car dealer from Essex when he appeared on Love Island in 2016. He was introduced in a speed dating task but his appearance was short-lived as he was never chosen to move into the villa.

Katie started dating Love Island 2016 star, Carl, in the summer of 2020, after they met in Essex celeb-hotspot Sheesh Chigwell.

They got engaged earlier this month after a whirlwind romance.

Fendi’s $890 USD keffiyeh has drawn criticism online (Image via Fendi/24S.com)

Fendi is facing criticism and accusations of cultural appropriation online after releasing a cashmere keffiyeh scarf. The Italian luxury brand’s $890 USD scarf has drawn backlash on social media for its resemblance to the black and white checkered keffiyeh worn by Palestinian nationalists.

While many Middle Easterners wear the headdress to protect their head and necks from the sun, the keffiyeh has also become a political symbol of Palestinian identity and resistance.

The chequered print of the keffiyeh has been appropriated by western fashion before — but Fendi’s latest product has particularly struck a nerve with social media audiences following the surge in violent incidents between Palestine and Israel.

“Stop trying to appropriate, mangle and mutate the Kaffiyeh,” one user tweeted. “Symbols matter. Especially for oppressed people.”

“Hell no! Can’t believe that you’ve stolen a symbol of resistance and selling it at that price. Outrageous,” someone added.

Fendi isn’t the only brand to draw criticism for their pricey take on the traditional keffiyeh. On Wednesday, fashion watchdog site, Diet Prada, publicly called out Louis Vuitton for retailing a $705 keffiyeh scarf.

“So [Louis Vuitton Moët Hennesy’s] stance on politics is “neutral,” but they’re still making a $705 logo-emblazoned keffiyeh, which is a traditional Arab headdress that’s become a symbol of Palestinian nationalism,” Diet Prada captioned an Instagram post to their more than 2.7 million followers.

Many followers were quick to point out that the brand used blue and white for the keffiyeh, the same colours as the Israeli flag.

“They could have designed a regular scarf, I’m not sure why they felt the need to specifically take from someone else’s culture?” one follower wrote. “It’s not even an innocent mistake or coincidence; they know where it comes from.”

Story continues

Although neither Louis Vuitton or Fendi have yet to issue a statement, the keffiyeh can no longer be found on the Louis Vuitton website.
