TV personality Mona Gucci, known in private life as Monalisa Abigail Samaha, has been trending on social media.
This follows claims she made on UTV that she is an American-trained lawyer with a specialisation in Immigration issues.
Mona Gucci, the host of Kantanka TV’s Link Up show, appeared as one of the guests for Nana Ama McBrown’s United Showbiz show on Saturday, February 21, 2021.

Among many other things, Mona Gucci claimed that she is an Immigration lawyer who was trained at the Massachusetts School of Law.
Mona Gucci further stated that she worked at a law firm called Abigail Williams and Co in Massachusetts.
Not long after making those claims, social media was awash with posts doubting the truth in what Mona Gucci said.
Afia Schwarzenegger who recently ‘beefed’ Mona Gucci went on social media to dare her to produce the certificate she got from the law school.
A search by YEN.com.gh has revealed that the Massachusetts Shool of Law (MSLAW) does exist but it does not have accreditation from the American Bar Association (ABA).
A Wikipedia page on the school also reveals that it has been battling the ABA for accreditation with lawsuits among others.
Without the ABA accreditation, MSLAW’s graduates are only limited to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
On the Abigail Williams and Co law firm, a check on the internet brings up the name Abigail Williams and Associates in Worcester, Massachusetts
This law firm has, however, been closed down about two years ago. The firm was involved in a big scandal involving lawyers ‘stealing’ from their clients. The firms named partner, Abigail Williams was indicted and had her licensed suspended.
In other news, Nana Ama McBrown’s daughter, Baby Maxin, has turned years old today, February 21.
McBrown has released stunning photos of Maxin in celebration of her second birthday.
Maxin’s photos have got many people sending their birthday wishes to her.

Ghanaian slay queen and lawyer known on social media as Mona Gucci has stirred a conversation on the internet.
Mona Gucci has revealed mind-blowing secrets about Nana Aba Anamoah, Sandra Ankobiah, and Serwaa Amihere.
Mona Gucci, who admitted that she is a slay queen, said Nana Aba is the mother of all slay queens.

In an interview monitored by YEN.com.gh, on Neat FM, the legal practitioner said Nana Aba has been pimping girls to rich people.
She also said pimping is not a bad thing and will be ready to accept such a proposal from Nana Aba.
Mona Gucci then added that Serwaa Amihere is the last ‘child’ of Nana Aba.

The outspoken lawyer said all the ladies Nana Aba has groomed in the country are now top slayers.
She then said Nana Aba is a good person and she has been helping those girls a lot
Meanwhile, ace Ghanaian musician and former MUSIGA president, Alhaji Sidiku Buari, has opened up about the paternity of actress Nadia Buari.

There have been viral reports in Ghana that Alhaji Sidiku is not the real father of Nadia with some asserting that he adopted her.

Angry Yvonne Nelson sends lawyers after Mona Gucci for labelling her as ‘Slay queen’
The Ghanaian actress has taken to social media to say that “My lawyers wrote to NEAT FM and MONA GUCCI concerning some defaming statements made about me on their platform, we asked they quickly retract their statements/ issue an apology”
Accordingly, Neat FM has issued an apology over the comments. However, the mother of one via the social media post added that she will no longer spare other media houses who tarnish her image out of nothing.

“NEAT FM just did, Lawyers will pursue MONA GUCCI’s. The Media (who the cap fits) finds it difficult to promote my works, but easily entertain tarnishing my image. Let this be a little reminder, any media house who drags the YN brand again into negativity will not be given the chance to apologize at all. Thanks.” she wrote.
