Subject Wanted for Stealing Rolex, Diamond Necklace, and Ruby Ring in the Third District

NEW ORLEANS - The NOPD is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Essence Lindsey (pictured) who is wanted for a theft incident that occurred on May 3, 2021.

On that day, Lindsey reportedly go into a verbal argument with the victim. At some point, Lindsey locked herself inside the victim’s bedroom and refused to come out. On May 4, 2021, the victim says he discovered Lindsey left his home without his knowledge, and when he checked his bedroom he discovered his Rolex watch, diamond necklace, and ruby ring were taken. In the posted picture, Lindsey is wearing the stolen Rolex and necklace.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Lindsey is asked to contact Third District detectives at 504-658-6030.

Only time will tell: AKA wants Rolex back after Nelli’s dad hires private eye

Following the recent shock AKA abuse claims, Anele “Nelli” Tembe’s family has allegedly hired a private investigator to look into her mysterious death as they search for answers.

Nelli Tembe allegedly jumped off the 10th floor of the Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town on 11 April. Over a month later, the details surrounding her death have not been clear.

MOSES TEMBE LAUNCHES INVESTIGATION

According to Sunday World, a source close to the rapper claims that Nelli Tembe’s father and well-known businessman, Moses Tembe, has allegedly hired a private investigator to probe the circumstances around the death of his daughter.

The source said that AKA suspects the family is now trying to blame him for her death. This follows the social media storm that erupted after footage showing AKA breaking down a door to get to Nelli hiding in a room in their Bryanston apartment went viral on Sunday 9 May.

AKA DEMANDS TEMBE FAMILY RETURN ROLEX

AKA previously gifted his then fiancée with a snazzy Rolex. Another source has claimed that since he has been aware of the Tembe family hiring a private investigator, he has demanded that the family return the expensive gift.

The Rolex can be seen in the screenshot below in Nelli’s Instagram announcement post of the couple’s engagement in February 2021 to share a photo of her ring.

The source added that AKA is worried about the family disregarding his version of what transpired at the hotel as he insists she committed suicide.

FIGHT BETWEEN AKA AND NELLI AT HOTEL

The source also dropped the bombshell that AKA and Nelli allegedly had a fight at the Pepperclub Hotel after his performance.

“He then video-phoned Anele’s cousin and explained to her that Anele was fighting with him and even showed her the injuries sustained to his hands,” said the source to Sunday World.

AKA allegedly then went to the bathroom to talk to her cousin during which time the musician claims Nelli jumped off the balcony

According to AKA’s spokesperson Phumza Nohashe he was questioned on three separate occasions by different police officers to see if he would change his statement, but he didn’t.
