NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — Police are searching for a group of burglars that broke into Balenciaga’s flagship store in Manhattan early Tuesday morning, according to a report.
Authorities tell the New York Post that the incident happened on Madison Avenue around 3:30 a.m.
Police told the paper that a group of eight or nine men made their way into the flagship store during the early hours of the morning by smashing in the front glass door.
While it was not clear how much merchandise the burglars made off with, the store sells products that carry price tags of over $1,000.
No one had been arrested in connection with the theft as of Tuesday afternoon. An investigation is ongoing.
